Gender Equality
-Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Gender Equality has been a problem since the past for hundreds of years. Many people only let boys go to school and needs girls to stay home. Like Pakistan, girls weren't allowed to play soccer and do all sort of things.
-Together, we will make sure everyone, male or female, gets equal access.
Targets
Target 5.1
By 2030, we will end all discrimination against woman and girls
Target 5.2
By 2030, we will eliminate all forms of violent and unequal of work against girls or women.
Target 5.3
By 2030, we will eliminate all harmful practices, such as child, early and forced marriage and female genital harm or damage.
Target 5.4
We will recognize and value unpaid care and family work through the provision of public services, infrastructure and social protection policies and the promotion of shared responsibility within the household and the family as nationally appropriate.
Target 5.5
We will all men and women, have the same opportunity to participate in leadership and decision making.
Target 5.6
By 2030, we will have universal access to sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights
Target 5.A
We will all have equal access to economic resources property ownership and financial services.
Target 5.B
We will enhance communication technology to promote empowerment of women.
Target 5.C
Adopt and strengthen sound policies and enforceable law for the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls at all levels.
