Clean Water and Sanitation
-Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
Water and sanitation are important. We can't live without it, but recently waste is increasing making wastewater. That leads to people not getting clean water. Also, the sanitation isn't very well which leads us to get spread of diseases which leave to death.
-Together, we will make sure everyone gets clean water and sanitation.
Targets
Target 6.1
By 2030, we will all have access to safe and affordable drinking water.
Target 6.2
By 2030, we will achieve access to quality and fair sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations.
Target 6.3
By 2030, we will improve water quality by reducing pollution, ending dumping and minimizing the release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the number of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally.
Target 6.4
By 2030, we will substantially increase water-use efficiency everywhere and have a sustainable supply of freshwater.
Target 6.5
By 2030, we will supply water resources management at all levels.
Target 6.6
By 2020, we will protect and restore water eco-systems from dirty water.
Target 6.A
By 2030, we will expand international the support to developing countries in water- and sanitation-related activities and programmes
Target 4.B
We will support and strengthen the local water and sanitation system.
